International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Tattoo

I met Frank Hernandez, earlier this year at the Slinging Ink Tattoo Expo in
 San Antonio Tx.
He wasn't quite sure about getting his first tattoo at the time and decided to wait.
Im glad he decided to get it at the Blind Side, where good things always happen to those who wait.

He chose to show his dedication to the union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, by getting the IBEW logo blasted on his arm.

NO this isn't it

He thaught he knew what he wanted, I gave him what he couldn't imagine. - Mr. Siego

The Road to the Texas Tattoo Showdown Day1 and 2

DAY1
Thursday July 1, 2010

Tough first day on the road to the Texas Tattoo Showdown in El Paso, Tx. We thaught we were off to an early start until we had a minor setback. A routine stop by a State Trooper got one of the Blindsiders a nice cold cell in Blanco County. After a few hours of harassment the kind officers finally bought the story that a few heavily tattooed guys were actually going to a tattoo convention.
My truck was impounded and we cracked some "My Cousin Vinni" jokes until we were let go.
So much for an early start.

Ghetto Bird, arrested and charged with suspended liscense, even though he's never had a license?
Blanco County jail, inmate population 2 prior to his release.

Day 2
Friday July 2, 2010

G-Bird released and we continue the mission to the Showdown in "Chuco"town!

NO THATS NOT US!

This was our first time to El Paso but something told us we were on the right path.

Our friend Victor Fuentes was already in El Paso, and left a smoke trail for us to follow.

Tattoo show or Juarez, Mexico?
Decisions, decisions, to make...

The first day of the show was almost over but Mr Siego and the Ghetto Bird finally made it!
